Roberto Cedillo Palomo

Roberto C. Palomo was born on March 16, 1928 in Ejido La Redonda, San Luis, Potosi, Mexico and went to be with his Lord & Savior on June 22, 2014. He is survived by six children Maria J. Sarabia, Teresa D. Riojas, Amador G. Palomo, Gloria M. Horvath, Rose Palomo-Lara, and Esther Palomo-Meska, fifteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, three brothers, three sisters, and over forty-five nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife Epifania Palomo-Medina, parents Luis Palomo-Martinez and Juana Palomo-Cedillo, daughter Michaela Palomo, grand-daughter Kimberly Haney-Chepey and three siblings, Merejildo Palomo, Marcelo Palomo and Vicenta Palomo.

Roberto migrated to the United States in his teens and learned the trade of Masonry. His craftsmanship gave him the ability to build his company. He taught three generations the skill, and eye for design, giving them the ability to be providers for their families. Roberto exemplified the same work ethic, as a dedicated provider for his family and servant of Christ.

Roberto accepted his Savior in 1957 and his acceptance led to his ministry. In 1969 he helped pioneer and expand the Spanish Church of God. In 1979 he co-founded Munger Place Church of God alongside his wife Epifania Palomo-Medina and Reverend Vessie D. Hargrave where many souls accepted Christ and others were mentored as Pastors, Missionaries, disciples and leaders. He continued to serve as a minister and mentor through the duration of his life. He leaves a Legacy of humility, faithfulness to Christ and his Family.

He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, loyal husband, tender father, respected brother, caring pastor, and diligent provider.

Visitation will be Friday June 27, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Funeral Services will be held Saturday June 28, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Northway Christian Church, located at 7202 W. Northwest Hwy, Dallas, Texas 75225. He will be laid to rest at Sparkman / Hillcrest Cemetery.
