Robert L. Prescott, Jr. passed away on January 30, 2012 and is now in the presence of The Lord. Bob was born on October 27, 1925 in Dallas. Bob was an active member of Lakeside Baptist Church in Dallas. He was employed for many years as a sales representative for the Chicago Metallic Company, and had a business degree from Southern Methodist University. Bob was stationed in England during WWII as a member of the 8th Air Force. He will be missed by family and friends who await that glorious reunion one day in Heaven. Because Christ lives we can live also. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Anita Prescott, son David Prescott, son Ken Prescott, and daughter-in-law Penny Prescott. He is also survived by his sister Louise Jenkins and her husband Jim, brother Jack Prescott and his wife Charlotte, and brother Dan Prescott and his wife Wiltrud, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Prescott, Sr. and his brother Joe Prescott, but is survived by Joe’s widow Peggy. The family will receive friends, Thursday, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home. Memorial Services will be held, 10:00 AM, Friday, February 3, 2012, Sparkman Hillcrest Funeral Home Chapel.
