He grew up in Texarkana, TX and graduated from Texas Senior High School in 1966. He then attended The University of Texas at Arlington and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. He began his professional career with Xerox Corporation in Dallas and held various marketing and industry specialists positions. Over the next 15 years at Champion Partners, he was responsible for the company’s development and build-to-suit activities. He finished his career with White Rock Commercial where he was responsible for all of the company’s development and marketing activities. He was active in numerous industry groups in Dallas commercial real estate including the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP), Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI).
He is survived by his wife, Teresa Perot, four children, Toni Nash and Stephen Perot, Joe Perot and Brittany Perot, six grandchildren, his mother, Jean Perot, and his brother Patrick Perot.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 29, 2010 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. with a Rosary Service beginning at 7:00. The Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 30, 2010 at All Saints Catholic Church, 5231 Meadowcreek Dr. (at Arapaho Road), Dallas, TX 75248, interment will follow at Sparkman/Hillcrest Cemetery.
