Robert Lee Nolen was born on February 19, 1923 and went home to be with our Lord and Savior on September 25, 2014. He was the oldest of 11 children born to Annie and Authur Nolen. He united in holy matrimony with Mary Langley- Nolen who proceeded him in death. To this union 4 children were born.
Robert served in World War II as a Tech 5 and was honorably discharged in 1945. He retired from the United States Postal Service after 30 years of service. He was a loyal member of First Baptist Church Of Hamilton Park where he served as a Deacon and Usher until his illness.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, 5 brothers and 2 sisters.
Robert is survived by his children: Theresa Lloyd and her husband Allen, Harold and his wife Irene, Jimmie and his wife Wanda and Kenneth and his wife Patty.
Sisters: Shirley Norris, Ada Kirby and her husband Billy, Lillie Gilbeaex and her husband Edward and brother Charles and his wife Sandy. He has 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
