Bob as we a called him will always be a friend forever. In life and in death he was that guy that you wanted to be around and just hang out together. Don't ask me why, it just was. Perhaps it was his pipe....He was an excellent pilot and he loved his family totally. When he left Gulf Coast, it was a sad day, but he had to make his move for the betterment of himself and his family. I hope he found all he was searching for as I know he did. In constant thoughts and fond memories, can't wait to see you again. Cheers buddy!

While Bob and his wife were living in Cuero, I went over to their home one night we had dinner and indulged in adult beverages. Anyhow, there was this album that we almost wore out that evening....."Inna Gadda Da Vida" by Iron Butterfly. I will never forget Bob. He was a good friend and what I consider, a great pilot. I can still picture him with his pipe. He love his Pontiac he had at the time. He was a very good person to all and I know his family misses him very much. He got his wings.....again


Bob was a pilot for our company, Gulf Coast Wood Products. He was an excellent pilot and a good friend along with his wife. He used to drive a real nice Pontiac Bonneville. I remember that he used to smoke a pipe. Back then smoking was no big deal in the offices. I recall one night I was over at their home and were playing albums and they had Iron Butterfly "Ina Gadda Da Vida". I swear we played that one side of the album over and over. It was hysterical but we were having a great time. I think wine was involved...LOL. Bob took his flying very seriously. He loved to be in the air and I enjoyed sitting in the copilot seat when I had the chance. I started looking for Bob last week and when I found out that he had passed, a thousand memories went rushing through my mind. I often think back and will cherish his memory for as long as I live. He was a good friend.
