He was a man that paved his own way in life, from poker houses to scraping wire to building a thriving commercial electrical surplus business from nothing. His knowledge in the electrical realm earned him the distinction of Breaker Bob, and he was always willing to impart that knowledge.
One of his great passions was motorcycles, Harley Davidson in particular, the louder and more chrome the better. He was also well known for tinkering just to find out how something worked.
He would give you the shirt off his back in the middle of a freezing winter. He will forever be known for his heart of gold.
He didn’t tell us how to live; he lived and let us watch him do it.
He will be laid to rest at Laurel Land Memorial Park, and his services will be held at Laurel Land Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 6, 2021, from 12 pm-4 pm. A well-earned Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, June 7, 2021, at 12:00 pm, followed by a graveside service.
In memory of Bob, please feel free to show your support by wearing your Tommy Bahama.
A special thanks to all family and friends for all your love, help and support throughout the difficult times.
John 11:25 – “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies.”
