Richard G. Watts Jr.

Richard G. Watts Jr. was born April 23, 1938 in Dallas, TX to Richard & Ruth Watts and passed away September 18, 2012 in Tyler. After graduating from Texas A&M with an engineering degree, Richard served in the Army, built his own construction company and was a civil engineer for more than 20 years. Never stopping he became a Constable and retired from Dallas County Sheriff’s Department after 17 years. Richard is survived by his wife Nancy Watts; son, Joseph Randall Watts & wife Jennifer Lynn; daughter Julie Marie Watts-Burnett & husband Timothy; grandchildren, Jessica Paige & Justin Garrett and numerous extended family & friends. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Thursday, September 20, 2012 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 21, 2012 at Grove Hill Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Don Renshaw & Dr. Terry White officiating. Interment will follow at Grove Hill Memorial Park.
