Richard (Dick) Alan Pfeil was born May 19, 1942, in Akron, Ohio to NelRose Jean and Charles Conrad Pfeil. Dick passed away suddenly on January 20, 2017, in Dallas, Texas. He was a man with a heart of Gold for helping his family, friends and tenants. Dick raised his three grandchildren for over twenty years. Dick’s passion was helping others. He managed several rental properties and he was loved by all his tenants and he loved them as well. Dick had a compassionate heart for helping single mothers raising their children. He was the owner and CEO of Pfeil and Sons Building Material, which he was very proud to manage and work alongside his family. Dick loved bowling and he bowled with some of the greatest bowler such as Dick Webber and Don Carter. He continued to bowl until last year and he was a member of Senior All Star Bowling Association (SASBA), along with League Bowling. Dick is survived by his wife, Judy; brother and sister in law, two daughters, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends.
