Rebecca Ann Reyes Soto

God blessed us when Rebecca Ann Soto was born August 13, 1956 in Bonham, TX. She passed away after battling cancer for 17 years on Sept. 20, 2010 in Garland, TX. She was a courageous fighter throughout her life, and it was truly a miracle we were able to have her for so long. Rebecca was always smiling and loved people very much. Above all, she treasured her three sons. We will all miss her dearly and wait for the day when we can all be together again. She is joined in Heaven with her parents, Hope and Emilio J. Reyes and birth father, Alejandro Alvarez. Rebecca is survived by her husband of 37 years, Edward G. Soto; sons, Emilio Soto his wife, Renee and their daughter, Isabella Soto, Phillip Soto, and Steven Soto and his wife, Andi; sister, Carmen Albiar her husband, Bobby and their sons, Bobby Jr. and Ricky Albiar; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Thursday, Sept. 23 at Sparkman/Crane Funeral Home in Dallas with the Rosary recited at 7 PM. A Funeral Mass will take place 10 AM, Friday, Sept. 24 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3030 Gus Thomasson Dallas 75228.
