Reba Dixon was born April 9, 1943 in Sherrell, Arkansas. She is survived by her two sons: Glenn Dixon and wife Donelaine Dixon of Mesquite, Texas and Charles Dixon of Richardson, Texas; two grandsons: Bobby Dixon and wife Jennifer Dixon of Royce City, and Bryan Dixon of Magnolia Arkansas; one granddaughter: Ashley Dixon of Mesquite Texas; two great-granddaughters: Oshin Dixon and Emma Dixon of Royce City; and adopted son Jose Humberto Torres of Richardson; and many other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby G. Dixon of 52 years; father, Bud Murdock: mother, Lorraine Murdock; grand-father, Charlie McCallie; grand-mother, Arizona McCallie.
Reba was a graduate of Samuel High School and has a Mortgage banking degree from North Lake College. She owned and operated a successful Real Estate brokerage House for over twenty years.
She loved the outdoors, and their land in Idabel - Brokenbow Oklahoma, spending time with Bob and family on their place. She enjoyed flower arrangements and cake baking and decorating for the holidays. She donated stuffed Easter bunnies to Children’s Medical City and Buckner’s Orphans Home for many years.
Reba was always smiling happy and fun loving. She loved her family beyond measure and life.
She was a member of Calvary East Baptist Church for over 40 years. She and her family attended regularly as long as her health permitted. She was a strong woman of faith and good Christian woman who will be missed by many.
Visitation will be from 6-8pm Wednesday July 28, 2013 at Grove Hill Funeral Home
Funeral Service will be 12pm Thursday August 1, 2013 at Grove Hill Funeral Home
Internment will to follow at Grove Hill Memorial Park
