Mr. Raymond Edward Higgins

Shelton and Thomas Higgins Sr of Troy Mo. He confessed Christ

as his lord and savior at an early age and then rededicated his

life to Christ in 1978.

Raymond graduated from high school in Wentzville, Missouri.

After Highschool Raymond joined the Army Branch of the military

where honorably served and protected the US during the

Vietnam war.

After returning from the military Raymond made a shift to St.

Paul, Mn where he met the love of his life Charlie Mae Crutchfield

of Idabel Ok. This union was blessed with 43 years of marriage.

Raymond worked as a dedicated employee for Glidden Painting

Company in Minneapolis, MN for 11 years. He then transitioned

to Dallas, Tx where he dedicated 24 years to Texas instruments

Inc until his retirement in 2011.

After retirement he enjoyed spending time with his family and

friends. His hobbies included barbequing, fishing, traveling,

watching westerns and sports.

Raymond served as a devoted member to Shining light ministries

in Seagoville, Tx; as a faithful servant. Raymond never met a

stranger and stayed in contact with many friends and relatives.

Raymond was a loving father and grandfather and consistently

doted upon his family.

Raymond is preceded in death by both parents; brothers Thomas

Higgins Jr and Donald Shelton, sister Marion Ruth Higgins

Matthews.

He leaves to cherish his memory: A devoted wife, Charlie M.

Higgins, 5 children, 8 grandchildren, and a host of nieces,

nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
