Dr. Lozano was born on September 15, 1936, in Rancheulo, Cuba. He passed away December 1, 2020, in Dallas, Texas, holding hands with the love of his life, Concepcion Lopez Lozano. Dr. Lozano was a political refugee from communist Cuba. In the 1960’s he brought his family to America, residing in Dallas, Texas. He was a highly regarded Cardiothoracic Surgeon. Dr. Lozano was married to Concepcion Lopez Lozano and they had two children, Ivette C. Lozano, MD and Raul A. Lozano, PA.
Dr. Lozano’s residence in Miami, Florida, allowed him to enjoy his Cuban culture among friends. He grew enormous avocados and mangos from trees he planted in his own back yard. A visit to his house would conclude with a box full of ginormous avocados and mangos to take home with you (His pride and joy in his retirement years). He is survived by wife, Concepcion C. Lozano, his two children, Ivette C. Lozano, MD and Raul A. Lozano PA, grandchildren Taite I. Lozano Brown, Julianna Y. Lozano, and Alexandra C. Lozano. His sister Gloria Lozano and his nephews and nieces Eduardo Lozano, Andresito Lozano, and Marilyn Lozano.
