Raul Gonzalez, Sr., 71, was born in San Antonio, Texas to the late Raymond R. Gonzalez and Betty Aguilar on February 6, 1946 . He entered into rest on March 20, 2017 in Arlington, Texas. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Josie Gonzalez; children, Joe Mier, Mary Gonzalez, Raul Gonzalez Jr. and wife, Bethany, Regina Delgado and husband Abel, Suzette Gonzalez; 27 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; siblings, Ralph Delgado and wife, Mary Jane, Tony Garcia and Ramon Gonzalez; sister-in-law, Yolanda Jones and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Berenice Gonzalez; grandson Christopher R. Gonzalez; parents, Betty and Raymond; brothers, Pete Delgado and Merced Delgado; sister, Margaret Delgado. Visitation will take place on Friday, March 24, 2017 from 5PM-9PM in the North Chapel of Calvary Hill Cemetery. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 10AM in the chapel of Calvary Hill Funeral Home, with the burial to follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
