Ramón García

Ramón García Márquez, 78, was called home on July 17, 2020, in Dallas, TX. He was married to María Elena García Martínez and they shared 50 years of marriage together. Born in Cuatro Cienegas, Coahuila, Mexico, he moved to Dallas, TX, in 1972 where he built a home and raised a family. He was a great husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

Ramón loved spending time with his family and spoiling his granddaughters, as well as working on his collection of cars, coordinating projects around the house, and being involved with his businesses. He enjoyed swimming, taking his boat out to the lake, and collecting coins and paper money. He had an incredible ability to make people smile and laugh and will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

Ramón was preceded in death by his father and mother, Eliceo García and María del Carmen García Márquez, as well as his daughter Martha García. He is survived by his wife, María Elena; his sons, Hector, Oscar, Javier, and Gerardo; daughter, Sandra; daughters-in-law, Stacie and Jennifer; granddaughters, Karina, Krystal, Klarrisa, Gabrielle, Graciela, Lily, Emma, Kaylani, and Olivia.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 21, 2020, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm with Rosary at 7:00pm. Services will be held on July 22, 2020, 3:00 pm. Both will be held at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home, 7405 West Northwest Highway, Dallas, TX 75225.

Ramón García Márquez, a los 78 años de edad, fallecio este 17 de julio de 2020 en Dallas, TX. Compartio 50 años de matrimonio con María Elena García Martínez. Nacido en Cuatro Cienegas, Coahuila, México, se mudó a Dallas, TX en 1972, donde establecio un hogar y familia. Fue un gran esposo, padre, abuelo y amigo.

A Ramón le encantaba pasar tiempo con su familia y consentir a sus nietas, trabajar en su colección de carros, coordinar proyectos en casa y attender a sus negocios. Le gustaba nadar, llevar su barco al lago y coleccionar monedas y billetes. Tenía una habilidad increíble de bromear y hacer sonreír a la gente y será extrañado por su familia, amigos y todos los que lo conocieron.

A Ramón le precedieron en muerte su padre y su madre, Eliceo García y María del Carmen García Márquez, así como su hija Martha García. Le sobreviven su esposa, María Elena; sus hijos, Héctor, Oscar, Javier y Gerardo; hija Sandra; nueras, Stacie y Jennifer; nietas, Karina, Krystal, Klarrisa, Gabrielle, Graciela, Lily, Emma, Kaylani y Olivia.

Las visitación se realizará el martes 21 de julio de 2020 de 5:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m. con el Rosario a las 7:00 p.m. El servicio de funeral se llevará a cabo el 22 de julio de 2020 a las 3:00 p.m. Los dos servicios estarán en Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home, 7405 West Northwest Highway, Dallas, TX 75225.
