Ralph Jones Jr.

Ralph Page Jones, Jr. was called home to Heaven on February 4, 2016. With a strong belief in Jesus Christ, he loved to share his faith by word and deed. Born February 18, 1933 in Dallas, TX, he attended Highland Park Schools and was a decorated Eagle Scout. He graduated from Schreiner Military Academy in 1952. He then served in the U. S. Navy from 1954-58, after which he graduated from McMurray College. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Ralph was a tenderhearted, fun-loving gentleman, who never met a stranger and led a life of honesty and integrity. A generous, open-hearted family man, Ralph adored his bride of 43 years, Sarah. He always brought joy and laughter to a situation. The influence of his life was tremendous and Ralph will be greatly missed.

Preceded in death by his parents, Ralph P. Jones, Sr. and Laverne German Jones. Survived by his loving wife, Sarah Williamson Jones; daughter, Elizabeth; sons, Ralph P. Jones III (Trey) and Ted A. Jones; sisters, Nancy Sue Raines (Ted), Alice Ann Hutcheson (Noel); nieces, Susan Nace, Yvonne Jones, Carolyn Dent, Alice Pujol; and nephews, Charles Raines, David Williamson, and Noel J. Hutcheson.

A Celebration of Ralph’s life will be Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at 11:00 am in The Truett Chapel, First Baptist Church, Dallas.
