I am saddened to hear about Rachel. I have tried to find Louie and Kimmy for over almost 30 years. I grew up with them in and out of school. I have missed them since childhood. I am sorry to hear about you're  loss. I can remember Rachel's kindness. Even as a child. My Grandmother just loved her so , so much. I never saw my Grandmother so happy whenever she was around. She just had a glow about her when she was near. I mean, the lady just adored her. I can even remember her saying that, she wished her daughters were like Rachel. She was just a sweet soul. If you knew her you could feel her warmth and kindness. You could feel the love she had for Kimmy and Louie just through their kindness. I am grateful for the little time I got to spend with them as a child.  I hope to one day reunite  with you all again some day soon. I've never stopped thinking of Rachel, Louie and Kimmy. I have missed y'all for a really long time. I am with you in heart and spirit. I love and miss y'all dearly. God Bless and know that I am thinking of you all. Rachel and I met through volunteering at Children’s. Her kindness and generosity were evident in everything she did for the kids. We often volunteered together in her beloved D6 oncology playroom and would go on many trips to the different floors handing out knit hats and blankets to the kids. 

I looked forward to seeing Rachel twice a month and she would always greet me with a big hug. I’m so grateful for all the warm memories and many laughs we had together over the last 6 years. 

Rachel, thank you for being my friend. I feel so lucky and blessed to have had you in my life. Keeping all your loved ones in my thoughts and prayers.

God Bless this beautiful Life that we have been given.  God Bless This Family and their homes.  God Bless the many friends and neighbors and people Rachel met along the way.  May God Bless the JOY and the pain, the pleasure and the frustration. 
There are many memories I Share with my SISSY our beloved sister-in-law. I thank GOD for blessing my life with such a beautiful Lady. She touched my life in a loving and generous way. Never expecting anything in return. Such BIG LOVE. The world and my life is more meaningful because of RACHEL OLIVERIA  ROBERSON.  This is not goodbye Sissy....until we meet again. Rachel graced me with her presence every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month. She would walk into the Volunteer Office with either treats, donations or more importantly,  gifts for her beloved Cancer Care playroom. I had the pleasure of being her Coordinator since I started at Children's in 2016. With over 800 hours of service and many warm memories that will never be forgotten, it has been a pleasure knowing her and becoming her friend. 

A servants heart, a warm soul and humor to keep you on your toes, thank you for being my friend Rachel. 

Many prayers to her friends and family during this time and she surely will be missed on our weekends! 

Whitney Geary

I met Rachel on her first day as a volunteer at Children's Medical Center. I had the pleasure of training her on some of the things she needed to know as a volunteer.  We hit it off immediately, and whenever we would see each other we would hug and dance like two little girls in kindergarten.  When she moved to Saturdays, we would only connect at special events, like the last time I saw her during the celebration of another volunteer's 50 yrs of service.  We did our signature hug and dance, then were joined at the hip throughout the program.

When she was preparing to make her rounds to invite the kids to the play rooms, she would grab a pocket full of finger puppets and would always say, "it's time to wake the kiddos".

I'm grateful that we met and she touched my life.  Rest in peace my dear friend.
