Rachel Oliveria Roberson returned to her Heavenly home on September 1, 2018 at the young age of 67. Her firm belief in God supported her in life and in every struggle and ultimately provided her peace during any and all circumstances she faced.
She was born in Dallas, TX to Oscar L. Oliveria and Lucinda Bastardo on July 2, 1951. She graduated from Crozier Tech High School in 1969 and received her Associates Degree in 2012 from Platt College.
On October 13, 2011 she became a devoted volunteer at Children's Medical Center Dallas. She served several units within the hospital. Rachel was an absolute blessing to everyone she met. She was a giver and a true encourager. She collected Native American jewelry and in her free time, she'd create her own unique jewelry for her self or as gifts to her family and friends. She loved tie-dye clothing and the more colorful the better. Rachel was an avid member of the NRA and loved her gun collection. She immersed in the Christian community that would be her lifelong support. She dedicated her children, grandchildren, family, and friends to God and encouraged them to explore the beauty of the gospels. She was known for her powerful prayers and those who encountered trouble and would call on her for prayer.
Rachel is preceded in death by her mother Lucinda Bastardo, her Sister Sandra J Perez, Her brother Michael R Rodriquez, Her Sister Deborah Y Rodriquez, and Her Father Oscar L Oliveria.
She is Survived by:
Her sister Patricia (Pat) Penelle and brother Oscar (Billy ) Oliveria II, Nephews: Steve R Oliveria, Oscar Olivieria III, David Oliveria, and Antonio (Tony) Rodriquez and Sister-in-law Linda Roberson and Brother-in-law Todd Roberson, Nieces: Amie N Oliveria, Lisa M Cerda, Jessie L Rodriquez, Miranda A Moreno, and Sandra L Moreno and several great-nieces and nephew and great-great nieces and nephews.
Rachel has lifelong friends who were like family to her: Raymond J Parks, Marlene Castro, Ester Mojica, Margret (Margo) Davila, Francis Espinosa, and Pastor Mike and Rita Mendoza.
Rachel will be dearly missed by her 3 children: Georgina (Gina) Gonzales, Louis R Aleman, and Kimberley (Kimmie) Aleman, 2 Step-Sons; David Lee Lerma & Lance Alan Roberson Jr., 6 Grandsons: Christian Manuel Gonzales, Ricardo Gonzales, Paul Anthony Aleman, Louis Rey Aleman, Xavier Alexander Aleman and Angelo Rene Aleman. She had One Granddaughter who was one of her pride and joys Ms. Lucinda Renee Aleman. She has 3 Great Grandsons and 5 Great Granddaughters.
