Quintin H. Word, born August 8, 1959, in Palestine, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on January 20, 2017, in Dallas, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Delsree Word; grandson, Davontay; three sisters, Sharon, Jackie and Carla; and one brother, Eric. Those who are left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 29 years, Joyce Word; children, Velvet Lyles, April Word-Jackson, Quintin Jr., LaTasha Word, Paul Word and Ashley Word; nine grandchildren, Victor, Dazzirae, LaTyvia, Kayla, Thomas, Charedy, Jayla, Jamiyah and Kamara; four brothers, Nigel Lewis Word, Carl Word, Marcus Word and Brian Word; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousin and friends.
