Philip “Phil” Michael Mastor, age 65, of Dallas, Texas, passed away suddenly and went to be with our Heavenly Father on June 7, 2021. Phil was born in Minneapolis, MN, on September 18, 1955, the second oldest of four children born to the late James Joseph Mastor and Jeanne LaLonde Mastor.
Phil grew up in Richardson, Texas, and graduated from Richardson High School. He then earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA) from the University of Texas-Dallas. Phil went on to work in the construction industry, but he was always most focused on his family and in particular, selflessly caring for his mom and dad as they aged. Phil was a great son, brother, athlete and friend. He would do anything to help anyone in need.
Phil loved the outdoors and enjoyed spending time at the lake or in the pool. He loved to ride his motorcycle in his younger days. As he aged, he enjoyed attending new release movies and afterwards going to see his mom and spent hours with her critiquing them. Phil was highly intelligent, caring, and while he didn’t like to show it, was a very sensitive, thoughtful and loving man.
Phil is survived by his sister, Janny Bailey; brother Stephen J. Mastor and his wife Jo Anne; brother Thomas J. Mastor and his wife Erin; and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on June 23, 2021, at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Sparkman Hillcrest Funeral Home, Dallas, Texas.
