Pete D Moreno was born September 9, 1933 in Waco, Texas. He served in the Air Force from April 1953-March 1957. His rank was Staff Sergeant, he received an honorable discharge from the Air Force. After, the Air Force he went to work for the Post Office serving 42 years and retired in 2003.
He is survived by his wife Juliet of 54 years of marriage sons Daniel, Edward (wife Zorahida), Andrew (wife Irene) and daughters Caroline (husband Bill) and Diane (husband Tino). Grandchildren Justin (wife Bridgett), Matthew, Jacob, Gabriel, Alex, Kal-el, Skyler, and Trevor. Great grandchildren Eden and Scarlet. Nephews and nieces John Paul, Efren, Adam, Sandra, Patrick, Albert and numerous nephews and nieces and extended family members.
He is the eldest of seven; brothers John (wife Martina) Tony (wife Paz) Sisters Beatriz (husband Carl) Lupe (husband Jose), Margaret ( husband Henry), Rosa.
The things that mattered most to Pete were family and education. He instilled upon his children to be responsible, work hard, and respectful. He showed compassion towards others through his generosity to his family members and others. He enjoyed being outdoors with his pets feeding the birds and watching his grandchildren play. He also enjoyed socializing with friends, family, and neighbors.
His smile and laughter will be greatly missed.

The Moreno Family invites you to join in remembering and celebrating the life of Pete. The visitation will take place in the chapel of Calvary Hill Funeral Home from 5PM-9PM, with the Holy Rosary recited at 7PM on Sunday, March 19, 2017. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10AM in the North Chapel of Calvary Hill Cemetery with the committal to follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery on Monday, March 20, 2017.
