Pedro Valdez Suarez, 86, passed away December 25, 2017 in Dallas, Texas. He was born May 13, 1931 in Rosebud, Texas. Pedro was a Veteran of the Korean War and received The Army of Occupation Medal in Germany and also enjoyed fishing. He is preceded in death by his parents, Juanita and William Suarez; son, Pete Suarez, Jr.; daughter, Elizabeth Montoya Rodriguez and brother, Thomas Valdez Suarez. Pedro is survived by wife, Encarnacion (Conchita) Suarez; sons, Robert, Joe and Edward Suarez; daughter, Mary Minerva Suarez; sisters, Euliala Banuelos and Lupe Moreno; brother, Lee Suarez; stepdaughters, Natalie Avilla, Brenda Avilla, Karla Osorio and Lorena Osorio; stepson, Jose Orsorio and 13 grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 2, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00pm with a rosary at 7:00pm at Grove Hill Funeral Home. Services will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at 10:00am at Grove Hill Funeral Home with interment following at 12:30pm at DFW National Cemetery.
