She was born Pauline Burks on September 16, 1924 and died on March 13, 2020 at the age of 95 at Long Creek Assisted Living and Memory Care in Sunnyvale, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Martin after 63 years of marriage. Jim and Polly were members of Pleasant Grove Church of Christ since 1960, where he served as an Elder and where Polly taught the cradle roll class for many years. She is survived by her sister, Betty Fuqua of Wilmar, Arkansas; 3 Children, Jim Martin, Jr. and wife, Charlotte, Becky Burroughs and David Martin; 8 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. A private burial will be held at Grove Hill Memorial Park. A memorial service will be scheduled in the near future.
