Paul attended early childhood school in Kingston Jamaica at the Alpha Academy Catholic school. He relocated to the states in 1971 moved to The Bronx, New York. He attended middle school at PS 208 in The Bronx. He Graduate from the High School of Art and Design in Manhattan, New York in 1976. He attended college at the Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan, New York in 1977.
In 1982, Paul moved to Texas where he became a successful entrepreneur in 1996 starting his own office supply business, Capital Business Products, Inc. and a sister company Capital Office Supply, Inc. His business remained successful until his health begin to fail him. Throughout his years of business he became a familiar face and a very true friend and was dedicated to the clients he provided a great service to.
When he wasn't working he was busy at his hobby of model building. In his earlier years he would stay up all night to complete models so that he could enter them into the big Scale-Fest contest that following morning. His specialties were science-fiction diorama, his goal was always to come in 1st Place and most of the time he did.
He has a great love for anything Star wars, military tanks, space crafts, air plane craft and CNN political news! Paul was so full of wisdom and had a great kind spirit.
In 2004 he married his caring wife, Barbara Wallace-Rutherford. To this union there were no children born.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his brother, Barry Rutherford(Sally) of Deltona Florida, his twin sister, Veronica Savage(Dwight) of Mableton Georgia. A niece, Kellina Rutherford of Los Angeles, California.
His step son’s: Anton Wallace(Whitney) of Dallas,Tx and Kamran Taylor(Sharnell) of Durant,Oklahoma.
Six Step-Grand children: Lyric Hodge, Cherish Clegg, Tristian Jackson, Kylan Taylor, Anton Wallace II,
