Paul Oliver Pederson, 83, of Dallas, TX, died peacefully on Jan 7, 2024. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sally, his four children: Laura Vganges, Michael Pederson (Alexandra), Kaya Freeman (Patrick), John Paul Pederson (German Mendoza), and six grandchildren: Eleftherios & Constantine Vganges; Thomas Pederson; Dylan, Sol & Lyle Freeman. He was born in Raymond, WA on Oct. 2, 1940, to Thomas Pederson and Dorothea Duncan, grew up in Vancouver, and graduated from the University of Washington in 1962. After serving in the US Army Reserves, he began a rewarding 38-year career at Price Waterhouse, starting the consulting practice in the Dallas office & retiring as a partner in 2001. He went on to receive a Master’s degree in Humanities & History from the University of Dallas and taught Management Consulting. Paul was a member of St. Rita Catholic Community, a Board Member of Montserrat Jesuit Retreat House, and followed the Ignation spiritual path. Deeply devoted to family and his faith, he was a world traveler who loved the sea, enjoyed writing, and had a lively sense of humor. Visitation: Jan. 11, 4-6:30 pm (Rosary 5:30 pm), Calvary Hill Funeral Home. Funeral Mass: Jan. 12, 11:30am, St. Rita Catholic Community. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Montserrat Jesuit Retreat House or the Parkinson’s Voice Project of Dallas.
