Paul Garza Martel, Sr., 66 of Dallas, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 in Dallas, Texas. Visitation will be on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Calvary Hill Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. at the Calvary Hill Cemetery North Chapel. Interment to follow in cemetery.
Paul Martel was born in Dallas, Texas to Miguel and Ramona Martel on December 24, 1951. He married Rosemary Martel on February 14, 2005 in San Antonio, Texas. He worked as a truck driver for 10 years. Paul is preceded in death by his parents and his nephew, Timothy A. Martel.
Paul is survived by his wife, Rosemary Martel; his son Paul Garza Martel, Jr.,(Lindsay Martel) and his daughters, Sabrina Rodriguez (Michael Rodriguez), Asia Rocha, Leeanna Rocha, Brandi Deffendall (Justin Deffendall), Roxanne Rocha, and Ida Bravo; grandchildren, Ezekiel P. Martel, Julian M. Hernandez, Emily Z. Hernandez, Paighton Martel, Savannah Martel, and Olivia Rodriguez; great grandchildren, Kylee A. Martel, Addison L. Martel, Alonnah K. Townsend, Angelina Garcia, and Ramon Garcia; brothers and sisters, Miguel Martel, Jr., Louisa Ayala, Raymond Martel, Herlinda Solano, Joe Martel, Chorita Torres, Antonio Martel, and David Martel; and numerous family and friends.
