Paul John Mark Hutchinson

He was baptized in the name of the Triune God and later professed his faith in Jesus Christ as his Savior through his Confirmation.

In 1969, Paul graduated from Lutheran High School South and went on to Southwest Missouri State University. In 1972, he pledged his life to his college sweetheart, Nancy, and they were married in Salem Lutheran Church by his father, Rev. Paul Hutchinson. Upon graduation with his degree in Urban and Regional Planning they moved to Texas, which remained their permanent home.

Paul was employed with Trinity River Authority and Southland Corporation during the development of the Las Colinas Urban Center. He spent the majority of his career as an estimator for general contractors in the Dallas area. Paul and Nancy attended Irving Bible Church for the past 26 years, where Paul served in the children’s church, the meal team, and vacation bible school (VBS).

Paul was called to his heavenly home on July 14, 2022, at 71 years of age, following his battle with dementia with Lewy bodies. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Paul and Daisy Hutchinson, and his son, Paul Jennings Hutchinson.

Paul is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Nancy (Jennings), sons Aaron and Stephen, grandsons Paul and Miller, sisters Susan and Paula, brothers Walter (Lili) and David (Nancy), and nieces Paula, Merry, Kaitlin and Rachel.

A memorial service will take place on August 20, 2022, at 2:00pm, Irving Bible Church, 2435 Kinwest Parkway, Irving, TX 75063.

Paul loved Jesus and is now with his Savior and reunited with his little boy.
