Patti and Bill were one month shy of their 60th wedding anniversary, but their life together goes back to 1956 when they had their first date. Patti graduated from Highland Park High School in 1960 and attended Texas Tech University. She was later an assistant for the Dallas City Attorney. Patti and Bill were married in 1963 and lived and worked in Austin, Texas while Bill attended law school at The University of Texas. After law school, Patti and Bill eventually moved to Richardson, Texas in 1972. Patti retained many of her friendships from her high school years and the Park Cities, while making new friends wherever she went. Patti was known by name and as a friend (Ms. Patti) by just about every employee of her local Tom Thumb grocery store, where she shopped daily for 50 years for meals for her family.
Patti will always be remembered for her wry wit and sense of humor, infectious laugh, incredible party planning and entertaining, and her life-long commitment to caring and providing for her entire family throughout her life.
A funeral service for Patti will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home, 7405 West Northwest Highway, Dallas, TX 75225.
