Saturday, February 19th, 2022, Patrick Ramos Saucedo, a loving husband, father of three children, one granddaughter, one great-grandson, one step-daughter, one step-son and two step-granddaughters, passed into heaven at the age of 77. Patrick, one of eleven children, was born on July 2nd,1944, to Ynes and Rumalda Saucedo in Dallas, Texas.
He married Elizabeth Mendias at age 19 and proceeded to have three children. They lived and raised their family in Mesquite, Texas for 14 years. Patrick worked with Young Chevrolet for 34 years as an auto painter. He went on to have other diverse careers with Protea Real Estate and Presbyterian Hospital in Plano. Patrick never wanted to retire and found much personal satisfaction in working. As a younger man, his hobby was body building. Throughout his life, he always stayed active and enjoyed the physicality of his jobs. His favorite past time was reading the newspaper, talking about politics, watching old westerns, football, boxing, and eating home cooked meals. Patrick will be remembered for his generosity and helpfulness to so many people. He had a big heart to help others and extend a hand up to anyone in need. He was a true and loyal friend to many.
On January 22nd, 2011, he married Marta. During their 11 years of marriage, Patrick gained a second family, whom brought him much love, affection and happiness in his later life. Patrick is preceded in death by his father, mother, brothers Raymond, Victor, Roy, Steve, and sister Nora. He is survived by his wife Marta, his three children who are Patrick Saucedo Jr. and his wife Rosa, Karla Saucedo, Carol Saucedo, granddaughter Sabrina Saucedo, great-grandson Christopher, along with stepdaughter Dalia and her husband Steve, stepson Jack and his wife Morgan, step-grandson Steven, step-granddaughters Britny and Stephany, three brothers Ernest, Bernard, Fred, and two sisters, Alice and Margaret. , and two sisters.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, March 5th, 2022, from 11am to 2pm. Visitation 11am to 12pm, Funeral 12pm-1pm, Burial 1pm-2pm at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
