Patricia Ann Reitz

Pat dearly loved her family and serving her church and community. She devoted her life to raising her children and her grandchildren and serving others in need. She found joy in spending time with her family and loved ones. She loved to serve at St. Cecilia Catholic Church and St. Cecilia School and taking care of the needs of the Carmelite “Sisters”. She loved animals of all kinds from her childhood throughout her adult years. While she didn’t show it often enough, she had a beautiful smile and a delightful laugh. But most of all she had a tremendous heart for others.

Pat is survived by her husband of 71 years, Edwin Reitz; her son Mike and his wife Janice; her daughter Linda Dickenson; her son Raymond (Boone) and his wife Rebecca; her son Stephen and his wife Robin; her daughter Debra Vinson; her grandchildren Diana Chastain, Jennifer Bishop, Tammy Cooper and her husband Terrence, Amanda Reitz, Taylor Newton and her husband Andrew, Bailey Vinson and Lexie Reitz; step-grandson Lucas Ridley and her great-grandchildren Dakota McGovern, Aurora Reitz and Cheyenne Bishop.

She was preceded in death by her father Bill Wilson and her mother Catherine Jones; her brother-cousin Lawrence Johnson Jr; her dear aunts Mary Ann Allison and Frances Machann; her uncles Dan Allison and Tom Allison, her grandmother Agnes Phelan Allison (Big Momma) and many other loved ones.

A graveside service for Patricia will be held Friday, December 4, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Calvary Hill Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, Texas 75220, please come in the main gate and use route 2.

Serving as pallbearers are Raymond Boone Reitz, Michael Reitz, Stephen Reitz, Doug Newman, Terrence Cooper and Andrew Newton.
