Patricia Inez White was born on July 17, 1954, to the late Clarence and Billie Anglin White in Austin, Texas. She was the only child of Clarence and Billie and spent the majority of her childhood in Dallas. Pat entered her heavenly home on Friday, April 26, 2019.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son John Michael Paris. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Michael “Mike” Meadors Paris, daughter, Angel Bass (A. J.), son, Seneca Paris, and a host of grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
She attended Texas Woman’s University, graduated May 1976. Her Master of Arts diploma from TWU, received in May 1981, hangs proudly in their home to this day. Pat started in education working as a music teacher in Dallas Independent School District. While at DISD, she thrived as a teacher and continued her education. As many know she went on to become a counselor at Bryan Adams High School. Retiring from DISD a little earlier than planned, she spoke often of the beautiful friendships with fellow teachers, coworkers and students.
She met her husband, Mike and married on June 11, 1983. They took care of one another for over thirty-five years.
She was a quiet soul. A trained pianist, Pat enjoyed music of all genres. Committed to education, both for herself and others, she helped many students prepare for a successful transition to college.
She will be sorely missed by many.
