Patricia Eleanor McCusker

Patricia McCusker, died peacefully on Tuesday, November 15, at her daughter, Ellen Botello’s home in Austin. Her family and friends will gather at Calvary Hill Funeral Home for a visitation Thursday, November 17, from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm to celebrate the dedication and joy of her life and exchange happy memories. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 1:00 pm Friday, November 18, at St. Monica Catholic Church; 9933 Midway Rd. Pat was a loving mother and grandmother. She touched many lives with her strength, courage, and faith in God. She was a member of St. Monica Catholic Church for fifty years. We are all richer for having her in our lives. She will now be watching over us from heaven as she so lovingly did on earth. We will all dearly miss her beautiful smile and loving heart. Pat will be remembered for her avid interest in her family and friends, her intellectual curiosity, indomitable spirit, generosity and her sharp mind. Throughout her lifetime, Pat developed countless friendships and is remembered for giving her time, energy and talents so unselfishly to all she knew. Pat grew up in Rochester, NY. She moved to Bayonne, NJ when she married Thomas McCusker. The family moved to Dallas in 1961. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Tom, and by her loving children, Maureen and Tommy. Survivors include daughters, Karen Tellez and her husband Vic of Hurst and Ellen Botello and her husband Trent of Austin; grandchildren Michael Tellez and his wife Krystal of Grapevine, Tony Tellez of Hurst and Tiffany, Abby and Jennifer Botello of Austin; great-grandchildren and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
