Patricia L. Mallett

Patricia “Pat” Logan Mallett, age 69 of Mesquite, passed away on December 10, 2016 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born on December 21, 1946 in Paris, Texas, the daughter of Elmer Matheny and Irene Fink Matheny.

Pat is survived by her husband, Ronald Mallett; children Rodney Oliver, Rhonda Oliver, Roger Logan and his wife Kourtney; grandchildren Rodney Jr., Tesla, and Tristan Oliver, Michael Oliverand Jerry Davis, and Madelyn Logan; great granddaughter Zoie; sisters Carol Ann Crowley and Sandra Kaye Matheny. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Willie M. Logan, and brothers Charles and Gary Matheny.

Pat had a heart of gold and will be greatly missed for her love and care for everyone. In her spare time, Pat enjoyed gardening, a hobby that she was very meticulous about and proud of. She also enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, Bingo, and lollygagging with her friends. Her greatest joy was the time she spent with her family and friends, all of whom will greatly miss her.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 13, 2016 from 6-8PM at Grove Hill Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Wednesday at 2PM, also at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Grove Hill Memorial Park.
