Olivia Garza, 87, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 30th, 2019 in Dallas, Texas. She was born on Monday, June 6th,1932 in Ciudad Acuña Coahuila, Mexico to Salomon and Teresa Cortez. She was raised in Corpus Christi, Texas and later moved to San Antonio, Texas where she met her husband and later relocated to Dallas, Texas. The couple had 7 Children.
She was a laundry technician at Fishburn's cleaners in Dallas, Texas where she worked for more than 26 years. Prior to retiring Olivia worked at Christian Care Center in Mesquite, Texas as a laundry technician for more than 12 years.
In her spare time Olivia enjoyed reading, music, sewing, cooking, and enjoying her family and friends. Her family will always remember as a loving, kindhearted, strong, and straight forward person.
She is preceded in death by: Her daughters Margarita Garza, Juana Garza, and Emma Garza, Mother Teresa Cortez Vann, Sister Juana Olivo, and Great Grandson Donavin Nathaniel Sandoval.
Olivia is survived by her Sisters: Esther Coulter and Rose Jolly, Children: Antonio Garza Jr.(Lynda) Hector Garza, Richard Garza, Maria Alicia Ramirez, Grandchildren : Brenda Ramirez-Sandoval, Edward Sandoval, Aaron Garza, Jason Garza (Belinda), Andrew Garza, Steven Garza, Nicholas Garza, and Gregory Garza. Great Grandchildren: Gabriel Sandoval, Joseph Sandoval, Edward "Bubba" Jordan Sandoval, Lucky Sandoval, Angel Sandoval, Reyna Mia Sandoval, Maximus Sandoval, and Olivia Alicia Sandoval and numerous nieces, nephews, and loved ones.
Olivia has impacted so many hearts throughout her eighty-seven years of life. She will forever be loved and missed but truly never forgotten. Her legacy will always remain alive in us.
