Odis Franklin Johnson 83, passed away April 30, 2013 in Mesquite, TX. Odis was born August 7, 1929 in Buffalo, TX, the youngest of 4 children born to Homer Ross Johnson and Estelle Hinon Johnson. Odis served his country in the Army from July 24, 1950 to July 23, 1953. He later became a plumber with a lifetime membership with the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 100, in Garland, TX. Odis is survived by 6 children, Barbara McAdams, Joyce Lawson Eads and husband Marvin Eads, Mary Kennedy and husband Bobby Kennedy, Odis Johnson, Henry Johnson, Teresa Hammons and husband Wayne Hammons; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Following cremation, services will be held at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, where of Odis Franklin Johnson will be entombed.
