Nova Jean Lord Wyatt Proch was born on January 31,1938 to Alton and Barbara Brown Lord in Richland, TX. She had 2 sisters, Betty and Martha and 1 brother, Alton Jr. Sadly, Betty and Junior preceded her in death.
Growing up in Corsicana, TX, Nova was a happy and typical kid. She enjoyed playing outside with her friends, splashing around in the creek, sliding down the mud hills, and roller skating down sidewalks and around the roller rink. She was always the star at the family gatherings with her antics performing in the front yard.
As life went on, she married Charles Eli Wyatt (Chuck) and raised 3 wonderful sons, Michael, Paul and Charles Jr. The family lived in Mesquite, Hutchins and Lancaster. After 38 years of marriage, Chuck passed away in June of 1995 at the age of 62. In August of 2000, Nova married Kenneth Proch and moved to Sachse. She had 12 wonderful years with him enjoying some traveling and cruising. In April of 2012, he passed on.
In 2014, after losing her son Paul the previous year, she moved to Hot Springs Village, AR to be near her son and daughter -in-law, Mike and Bonnie. She had a few good years living in her home prior to moving into assisted living and eventually the nursing home where she was well cared for and loved by all the staff. As Nova is now at peace and rests in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, she will be missed by her loving family and friends.
She leaves behind her sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Bonnie and Charles and Kelly, her sister and husband Martha and Charles Brock, her niece Karen (who was like a daughter to her) and husband Gary Welborn, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews and friends.
Rest in peace Mom/ Nova. We love you and will see you again.
