Norma Lynn Beach Yarborough was born on December 24, 1933, in Dallas, Texas to Essie Lou and Bailey Beach. She died peacefully at her residence in Quinlan, Texas surrounded by her loving family. She graduated from Forest High School in Dallas, TX in 1952. She married Herman Lee Yarborough on June 5, 1952. Norma was a housewife raising her three boys and worked at Texas Instruments until the birth of her daughter. "If this is a boy, I'll be back to work.... if it's a girl, I won't be back!", and she never went back to TI. Norma spent endless hours caring for her family, supporting her sons' hunting and fishing hobbies and was involved in her daughter's dance recitals and college sorority activities. She and her husband began Yarborough Sheet Metal in 1968 and operated the business until 1976. They later began a skylight business, Solar Accessories, which is still in business today owned by her sons. Norma retired in 1991. She spent her retirement years traveling with her husband, her sister Doris and brother-in-law, Eugene. She also loved gardening, crafting, shopping, visiting the casinos, and playing with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her husband Herman Lee Yarborough, her son Larry Paul, her parents, her three brothers and four sisters precede her in death. She leaves behind a legacy in her sons Dennis and wife Debbie, Darren and wife Mary, daughter Kelly Muehlstein and husband Adrian, daughter-in-law Betty Yarborough, sister Evelyn Scott, sister-in-law Frances Beach, grandchildren, Wendy Cheek and husband Tony, Amanda Donald, Jason Yarborough, Shelby and Seth Muehlstein, and step grandchildren, Joe and wife Jennifer, and Scott Raber. She also has eight great grandchildren, Lainey and Miller Cheek, Austin Seagraves, Jonathan Bell, Julie Beard, Ivan, Jacob, and Chloe Raber and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews, friends and extended families.
