Mrs. Norma Ruth (Shelby) Johnson

Mrs. Norma Ruth (Shelby) Johnson, age 81, of Red Oak, Texas passed away on Saturday July 4, 2020. Norma was born October 9, 1938 in Winnsboro, Texas. Norma is proceeded in death by her husband of 56 years Fred Oscar Johnson and her twin daughters Debra and Donna Johnson. She is survived by her daughter Cindy Jeffers. Three grandchildren, Jacki and John Bradley, Jana Jeffers and Ursulo Davila and Trey Jeffers and Stephanie Frye and family. She was a loving great grandmother to six great grandchildren Elysia Parras (18), Jayden Maum (14), Abigale Maum (13), Blake Bradley (8), Jensen Jeffers (5) and Brett Bradley (4).

She retired from AAFES (Army Air Force Exchange Service). She spent her retirement years dedicated to loving and raising her great grand angels. She loved to travel with her friends, spend time with family and read books.

A visitation for Norma will be held Friday, July 10, 2020 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 6300 South R.L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75232. A funeral service will occur Saturday, July 11, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Laurel Land Memorial Chapel, 6300 South R.L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75232. A committal service will occur Saturday, July 11, 2020 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Laurel Land Memorial Park, 6300 South R.L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75232. Immediately following the graveside services at Laurel Land please join us for a Celebration of Life gathering in her memory at Wild About Cheer gym located at 1502 S. I35, Suite 200, Lancaster, TX 75146.

Richard Rinehart, will be officiating the services. Pallbearers include Trey Jeffers, Jayden Maum, John Bradley, Junior Davila, Travis Franklin and Austin Lynch.
