Nicholas Davila, 73, passed away October 23, 2023 in Dallas, Texas. He was raised in West Dallas and later married Melchora Davila. They were married for an extraordinary fifty-three years. He worked hard in difficult times in order to achieve self-employment. He had a tremendous amount of skill, fortitude, and vision while working with ceramic tile for more than thirty years.
In his spare time, he enjoyed taking walks and especially appreciated visiting with others he encountered along the way. Throughout his life and career, his family always remained in the forefront of his mind. They were consistently his focus and source of encouragement. Mr. Davila was driven to provide for his family as a result of his strong work ethic.
His family and friends will always remember him as being kind, honest, friendly and one that could carry on a conversation with anyone he may meet. He has often been described as being a people person and used his friendly conversational skills as a tool to bring joy to others as he spoke with them.
He is survived by his wife, Melchora Davila; son, Gabriel Davila and his wife, Brenda; grandchildren, Catalina Davila, Nickolas Davina; and his sister, Margaret Casarez.
