Neta Jean Nuckles

Neta Jean Nuckles, age 80, of Flower Mound, Texas passed away on Saturday February 22, 2020. She was born October 5, 1939 in Canton, Texas to Valree and Roy Hunter. Neta was raised in Dallas, Texas and graduated from Forest High School. She married Stanley J. Nuckles in 1994 and worked as a mortgage banker underwriter for more than 30 years. In her spare time Neta enjoyed bowling, gardening and shopping. Her friends will always remember her as funny, loving, generous, plan ahead type, gardening loving soul who also enjoyed taking care of her 3 dogs. Neta is preceded in death by her daughter, Becky; mother and father, Valree and Roy Hunter; sister, Janice and brother, Gerald. She is survived by her husband, Stanley J. Nuckles, Jr.; daughter, Nita Ann Vallance; granddaughter, Malinda K. Wellington; grandson, Casey R. Tapp; great-grandson, Tyler J. Fox and Gabriel Fox; great-granddaughter, Nicole Valree Fox; sister, Wanda Smith; nieces, Vickie Holcomb, Sherry Johansen, Terri Adair and Pam Belz; nephew, Charles Adams; aunt, Judy Swor and uncle, Jerry Malone as well as a host of cousins.

A funeral service for Neta will be held Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Grove Hill Funeral Home, Following the funeral service will be a committal service at Grove Hill Memorial Park, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, Texas 75228.
