Morgan LeVon Crow went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 29, 2020. He graduated from Adamson High School in Dallas in 1948, and then SMU, with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1952. His career began at Guiberson Corp., which became part of Dresser Industries, where he retired in 1978. His work in the design and building of drill bits and other oil field equipment was a source of joy for him. He also enjoyed his work as a Patent Agent, which he continued for years independently after his retirement from Dresser. He was the inventor in 30+ patents. In addition to his work, he loved woodworking, traveling, singing, playing golf, and spending time with his family. He was a deacon from 1957, and led or served on many church committees. He also served on the Ovilla City Council for 10 years. He is predeceased by his first wife, Charlene Compton Crow, parents Leon & Elli Crow, and sister Hazel Sue Crow. He is survived by wife, Mary Helen Crow, son David Crow, daughter and son-in-law Kim & Bobby Adams, grandchildren Shannon Morgan and Nathan Adams, and Shannon’s husband Jason, and 3 great-grandchildren, stepchildren Laura Garrison-Mahan, Sheree Romanchak and Barry Connally, and a host of other family and friends.
There will be a private graveside ceremony on Thursday at Laurel Land Memorial Park.
