Miguel Dimas 88 passed away Monday, November 6, 2023, he was born September 29, 1937, in Dallas Texas to Domingo and Sabas Hernandez Dimas. He was proceeded in death by his parents as well as his wife Josephine Dimas; daughter Carolyn Dunklin and siblings Pedro Dimas, Catarina Armour and Paula Estran. He is survived by his daughters, Belinda Picaso, Angie, Nana and Eva Graf. 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Miguel served in the Korean War 1954 to 1956. He was a proofreader for the Dallas Times Herald, he worked for Tenison golf course, he was a volunteer assistant coach for the Woodrow Wilson’s girls’ soccer team from 1978-1979.
Miguel was a member of the Pan-American golf Association & Knights of Columbus. He was also a member of the hole-in-one club at Tenison Memorial golf course. He enjoyed dancing with his wife, he was an avid golf player, and loved playing jazz on his xylophone.
He loved fishing and camping, spent countless hours of playing dominos, completing word search puzzles, and playing 5 cards draw with his Grandchildren and great children. He even enjoyed playing pool with his daughters at Knights of Columbus.
A rosary will be held Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Grove Hill 7 P.M. to 8 P.M.
The Mass will be Monday, November 13, 2023, at 10:30 A.M. at St Edwards Catholic Church. The committal will follow at Grove Hill Memorial Park at 12 P.M. with last honors at 1 P.M. at Grove Hill Memorial Park.
