As a young man Mickey built several race cars which he raced at Dallas area drag strips. While in the Navy he got his pilots license, bought an airplane after his discharge, and started a business buying and leasing hangers at an area airport. He expanded into rental real estate, including the Main Street Music Hall in Farmersville, Texas. His generosity, and willingness to help those in need was well known by all who knew him. He will be missed.
Mickey is survived by his wife, Marilene Davison; daughter, Susan Morgan; brother, Roy Davison and granddaughter, Alexis LyBrand.
Mickey was preceded in death by father, Roy Edd Davison and mother, Madie Davison.
A visitation for Mickey will be held Saturday, April 11, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 6300 South R.L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, Texas 75232.
Serving as pallbearers are Roy Davison, Bob Davison, Erick Davison, Erick Magalhaes and Rodrigo Magalhaes.
