Mr. Michael Eugene Stewart, Sr.

Mr. Michael Eugene Stewart, Sr., age 65, of Dallas, Texas passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2020; born June 17, 1955 in Dallas, Texas to Francis Louise Devers (preceded in death). He attended LG Pinkston High School before enlisting in the Marines in 1975; he later made a career decision to transfer to the US Air Force. TSGT Michael E Stewart retired honorable in 1994 and returned to Dallas, Tx along with his wife and children. Michael was employed at the US Postal Service for 25+ years at the time of his death.

Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Francis Louise Devers and his grandmother Bernice Washington whom are both loved and missed dearly. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 30 years DeCarla Stewart; his eight (8) phenomenal children- Michael Stewart, Dametrice Burrell, Michael E.Stewart, LaQueda Canizales, Kristian Taylor, Karlissa Stewart, Jasper Stewart and Mycal Z.Stewart.

Fourteen (14) Grand children who warmed his heart and gave him a reason to smile- Daimon Burrell Dwight, Dania Hudson, Tamara Allen, Billy Ray Lyons Jr., Charleigh Canizales, Izik Taylor, Olivia Canizales, Daniel Canizales, Elayjah Stewart, Sonya Taylor, Jasper Stewart Jr., Andrew Canizales, Brooklynn Stewart, Kristian Taylor II.

Five (5) fabulous Great grand children- Khloe Green, Zoey Green, Kaleigh Green, Essence Burrell and Lamarion Burrell. Also survived by his blessed Aunt Beatrice Stewart along with a host of family members, friends and acquaintances.

On this day that the Lord has made, we are laying to rest our beloved Michael -Husband, Father, Papa and don’t forget a die-hard “COWYBOYS FAN”!

“And now, dear brothers and sisters, we want you to know what will happen to the believers who have died[a] so you will not grieve like people who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the believers who have died.” Amen
