Michael Roger Hogue

Michael Roger Hogue was born on April 23, 1945 in Dallas, Texas to parents Vernon and Marie Hogue. He departed this life on Tuesday, July 11, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. Michael attended Samuell High School, and graduated from Bryan Adams High School. He married the love of his life, Linda Cozby Hogue, on April 1, 1965. Michael enjoyed spending time with his family, watching movies, playing the piano, as well as the drums. He was known as the “comic” of the family, and enjoyed entertaining the crowd. During his career Michael worked as Chief Engineer of the 1st Baptist Church of Dallas, as well as Lover’s Lane United Methodist Church. He also worked for Trammell Crow, Otis Elevators, White Rock Parks Department, and then later in life he pursued his life passion and became a licensed massage therapist. Michael was one of kind and he will be truly missed. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Linda Hogue; sons Shawn Hogue and wife Krystala and Kevin Hogue and wife Dena; grandchildren Meagan Hogue, Abigail Hogue, Dalton Hogue, and Kylie Hogue, and many other family members, friends, and of course his grandpets.
