Michael DeWayne Campbell was born to the parentage of William Campbell, Sr. and Cleo Campbell on March 23, 1963, in Dallas, Texas. Michael graduated from Skyline High School in 1980. Michael accepted Christ at an early age as his personal savior. He loved the Lord and was a member of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church. In June of 2010, Michael and his wife, Denita, joined New Covenant Christian Fellowship Church. He remained a faithful member until he received his crown in Glory. Michael leaves to cherish his memories: his wife of ten years, Denita Campbell; one stepson, Breon Cornelius; parents, William and Cleo Campbell; mother-in-law, Eloise Conger; brothers, Anthony Fitzgerald (Debbie) and Clarence Campbell (Betty); sisters, Janice Broughton, Audre Peel, and Michelle Rider (Glendale); brothers-in-law, Bobby, Irby, Ronald, Wayne, and Dwayne Conger; sister-in-law, Sandra Conger; seven grandchildren, Zion, Elijah, Aria, Trevon, Breya, Kaleb, and Ava; best friend, Mark Spencer; play sisters, Barbara Cottingham, Patricia Taylor, and Karen Talton; uncles, Ralph Hicks, Jr. (Nelva) and Tracy Campbell; aunts, Mayra Joyce Campbell, Mary Sutphen, Faye Spates, Dessa Mae Green, Bennie Lee Jackson, and Pauline Hicks; nephews, Kerwin, Brandon, Trey, Chris, Joshua, Darius, Jonathan, Rodrick, and Terry; nieces, LaDonna, Constance, Shenequial, Shamaria, Clarissa, Leah, Markita, Piyah, Yashika, Gia, Sherlyn and Chloe; and a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.
