Mrs. Mercedes V. Rangel

Mercedes V. Rangel passed away peacefully during her sleep November 3, 2010, born in Salamanca, Guanajuato Mexico. She was preceded in death by her son Robert W. Rangel. She is survived by her loving and caring husband of more than sixty years, Isidoro S. Rangel; children Yolanda R. Rodriguez (David), Jorge Rangel (Nelly), Sylvia R. Dominguez (Dr. Jorge), Carmen T. Blandino (Steve), Santiago Rangel (Jessica) and Gabriel Rangel. Mrs. Rangel also leaves behind 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m., Sunday, November 7th at Sparkman Hillcrest Funeral Home Northwest Highway Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m., Monday, November 8th at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church with Rev. John Libone, celebrant with entombment following at the mausoleum at Calvary Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to the Mercedes V. Rangel Burse at the Catholic Diocese of Dallas, American Diabetes Association or the charity of your choice.
