Melvin Morgan passed away in Dallas on September 15, 2018, at the age of 72. He was born in Lubbock, Texas, on December 24, 1945, graduated from Colorado High School, Colorado City, Texas, in 1964, and from Texas Tech University in 1970.
Mel is survived by his wife of 50 years, Lynne Morgan, son Sean Morgan and wife Lindsey, brother-in-law Ron Witten and wife Tish, niece Allie Pearson and family, nephew Ben Witten and family, and a special cousin Shirley Barta and family.
Mel spent his entire career in the title business and retired from Republic Title in 2013 as a Senior Vice President.
A celebration of Mel’s life will be held on September 23, 2018, at Parigi, 3311 Oak Lawn Avenue, Dallas, from 5 pm to 7 pm.
