Maxine Rosenberg Sobel, beloved wife and mother, passed away on November 1, 2014 after a long battle with lung cancer. Maxine is survived by her husband of 57 years, Richard Sobel, her daughter, Loren Sobel and her niece, Joy Sobel McGuire. Maxine was born January 28, 1937 in Brooklyn NY to Abraham and Estelle Rosenberg. She was married to Richard Sobel on March 16, 1957, and moved to Dallas with her husband in 1960. She loved her family, including her beloved dogs; spending time with friends; cooking gourmet meals and entertaining; and practicing “retail therapy.” In lieu of flowers, please send donations to The American Cancer Society or Operation Kindness.
