Maxine C. Satarino

Funeral services will be held at 2pm Friday, December 16, 2016 at Calvary Hill Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery.

Maxine was born Sandstone, Minnesota to William and Stella Prenevost on August 31,1919. She married Dr. John Satarino on April 22, 1940 in Sandstone. Previously she graduated from Sandstone High School, then pursued a short career in dental hygiene assisting , when she met her husband John who was a dentist. She participated in Altar Society and many other Catholic charities. She was kind, generous, loving and funny.

Maxine is preceded in death by Her husband John and second son John, who also Passed this year.

Maxine is survived by children Virginia, Frank, Maxine Ann Burley Scott, and Theresa Chandler Paul. Grand children, Charles Satarino Colleen,John Satarino LeMae, Angie Funchion Dave and Matthew Chandler. Great Grand children, Josh, Stephen,Sophia, John and Julia Satarino and Paige and Jack Funchion. She has many beloved nieces and nephews in Texas, and Minnesota. She also had many new and kind friends at her nursing home where she lived the last several years near her youngest daughter Theresa. While there She loved to sing and listen to old music, pet the therapy dogs and give advice, participate in activities, and she especially liked all the parties and anything having to do with chocolate.
