Maxine Reid

Maxine Owen Reid, age 90 left this earthly home on May 10, 2020 from Dallas, TX. She born July 15, 1929 in Malakoff, TX. Maxine passed away at home with her family at her bedside. She married the love of her life Glynn Reid on January 20, 1950 and they had four children. Maxine worked at Western Union for 31 years before retiring. She will be missed dearly.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert James Owens and Ella “Minnie” Marion Hanks Owens; her beloved husband, Glynn Reid; her son Glynn “Rusty” Reid Jr.; her great-grandsons, Jacob Glynn Ledbetter, Ty Caleb Ledbetter.

Maxine is survived by her children, Randy Reid and wife Lori, Karen Lane and husband Jimmy, Nancy Kirkpatrick and husband David; grandchildren, Wendy Davis, Reid Candle, Paton Kirkpatrick, Collin Kirkpatrick, Grayson Kirkpatrick, Kinsey Kirkpatrick; great-grandchildren, Connor Ledbetter, Macey Davis; and Sister, Norsine Higginbotham
