Mary Joyce Wells

Mary Joyce Russo Wells was called home to be with Jesus on February 4, 2021 at the age of 70. Joyce was born on December 18, 1950 to Irene and Joe Russo, and grew up in Waco with her 4 siblings Pat, Margaret, David, and Peggy. Years later, she reunited with her half-sisters Gloria and Lorraine.

Joyce wedded her husband, Travis Wells on June 4, 1966, and they spent almost 55 years together. Not only did she raise 3 children Travis Jr. , Dana, and Candy, she opened her home to many family members over the years, where she cooked and cared for them while they were healing. Joyce enjoyed cooking and planning big get-togethers for her family and church. Family and Church were important to her.

Strength is the one word that describes Joyce best. She was a strong-willed child, strong-minded wife, strong Christian mom, and a strong child of God. We are all stronger because of her. She lived her life for Jesus, and would tell others of his love.

Joyce is survived by her loving husband Travis Wells, children: Travis Wells Jr. and daughter-in-love, Lisa Craft, Dana and husband, Alan Dulworth, Candy and husband, Mike Johnson. She is survived by her grandchildren, Travis Alan Dulworth, Austin Dulworth, Danielle Wells, Jace and Jolie Johnson and great-grandson, A.J. Dulworth. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews which she loved very much.

We will miss her, but we know she is reunited with her family and celebrating with Jesus.

Services will be February 11, 2021 New Life Worship Center 1320 Brown Street Waxahachie, Tx 75165

Followed by Graveside service at Laurel Land 6300 S R L Thornton Fwy, Dallas Texas 75232

Reception will be held back at the church after the graveside service.
